The Mt. Hebron Theatre cast and crew will take the stage again this Spring in their production of The Little Mermaid. Show times are March 17 and 18 at 7 pm, and a matinée on March 19 at 2 pm.
Last fall’s production of Arsenic and Old lace was met with great approval and sparkling reviews from audiences, and theatre veterans are eager to share an even more popular and beloved show for the Hebron community.
“This is such a fun and nostalgic show. We are all so excited to be a part of it. We know that there are high standards for such a well-known show, but our fine arts department is both talented and hard-working enough to do it justice,” says Mt. Hebron senior and International Thespian Society member Alyssa Renew.
With ballads like “Part of Your World” and high-energy ensemble numbers like “Under the Sea,” the cast and crew are determined to put their heart into every song and scene.
“I love watching the numbers come together and they look so incredible when they do. They’re really a testament to the hard work and talent of everyone involved,” says Mt. Hebron senior and ITS member Natalie Booth.
Members of the Mt. Hebron Theatre community encourage students to come to support their hard work and even audition to be in the next show.
“Even if you’re new to performing or tech there are so many people who are willing to teach you and help you learn,” says Booth.
This upbeat production features a talented cast and crew with a wide range of experience levels. All have put in many hours of rehearsals and set builds, and hope for a big audience to share their magic with.
