This year, 19 new staff members have joined Mt. Hebron. Eight of the new staff members are teachers and four are administrative staff.

“I don’t like eggs or cheese. I’m 100% Italian and i don’t like either of those.”
Do you have any hobbies outside of school?
“I love to hike, cook, read of course, and tutor.”

What are you most excited about at hebron?
“The school is pretty amazing the kids are actually the perfect mix of cultures and backgrounds that I’ve seen in howard county, so I’m really looking forward to this year.”
If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
“I would like to freeze time so i could get more sleep then unfreeze time and be good to go.”

What some hobbies you have?
“I coach varsity lacrosse here, I spend a lot of time doing that. I like spending time with my family and my brothers are in college, I visit them sometimes. And, I play with my dogs.”
What would you do if you won the lottery?
“I don’t have many expenses right now, but if I had any I would pay them all … And then, I’ll put money away for my future children and then I would help anyone else in need with my money.”

“…Getting to know the students and the staff, adjusting to a new school life. It was time for a change from my previous school and I was really lucky to land a position here.”

“Maybe if I was older in the movie, Robin Williams”

What do you like to do outside of school?
“I like to cook, I like to read, do yoga, go for hikes with my dogs.”
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
“To be able to fly so that I could avoid traffic when I’m trying to get out to the beach.”

“I was born in Baltimore, but I grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia.”
Any fun vacations this summer?
“I went to Ocean City for a little while, but I usually go to the Outer Banks.”
Allison Downey: Student Support Services
What kind of hobbies do you have outside of school?
“I really enjoy reading. I have two kids, they’re a big hobby of mine. I spend a lot of time with them. I run. I don’t say that I like to run, but I like who I run with.”
Whats your biggest pet peeve?
“My biggest pet peeve is Guidance counselor is an outdated term and we are now known as school counselors, guidance counselors was before there was a national curriculum and before we had our master degrees”

Did you go on any vacations this summer?
“No, we didn’t go this summer, we got a new puppy, but I did go to to Hawaii over spring break.”

“I love photography … I feel like I have a creative side to me that I don’t use very often.”

“The one thing I really want to do or accomplish here is getting to families.”

“I am most excited about the community and the student community, like getting to know students and getting to know parents and i just hear so many great things that happen in the hebron community.”
If you could have an endless supply of food what would it be?
“ Seafood. Shrimp, crabs, fish, all of it.”

What are some of your hobbies outside of school?
“Hobbies include going to concerts, movies, i really like downtime like meditation and yoga and excercizing, thats important for me, thats how i relieve stress, amnd then i hang out with my friends and stuff.”
If you could have any super power what would it be?
“To be in different places at once, like if i wanted to be on a plane to las vegas i could be there in the blink of an eye”

“I do a podcast, I do research and I write, and run when i should.”
