The Fine Arts Department hosted the Gala Prism Concert on Nov. 15 to showcase Mt. Hebron’s student artists.

Art and photography were hung in the lobby, accompanied by a string quartet to begin the night, and followed by performances in the auditorium. The Dance Company, Band, Orchestra, Theatre Arts, Guitar and Chorus participated in the event.

The Dance Company executed a dramatic and emotional performance to “Crystal Tears,” followed by Orchestra’s rendition of Handel’s Largo-Allegro. Theatre Arts previewed Shakespeare’s “Much Ado about Nothing,” MTH PTX sang an acapella “Imagine,” and Dixieland played, “Five Foot Two, Eyes of Blue” and “Battle Hymn of the Republic.” Guitar performed “Wagon Wheel” and “Sweet Home Alabama.” Orchestra and Dance Company created a masterpiece for Allegro Animato, and Musical Theatre wowed with “All I Ask of You” from “The Phantom of the Opera.” The finale was “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” by Dance Company, Jazz Band and Beauty Shop.
