“My look has stemmed from Korean looks. I feel like Korea is one step ahead of everyone in fashion terms. The people in Korea are very diverse in the clothes they wear.”

What do you do for fun?

“I draw, and I knit.”

What are you wearing from head to toe?

“Black overalls, a butter sweatshirts that actually says ‘I’m smooth like butter,’ and black platform shoes.”

What song are you playing on repeat right now?

“Tora — ‘Jaigantic (Galimatias Remix)’.”

Who would play you in the story of your life?

“Ryan Khang. We are both very similar. He’s very clumsy, and we both love art. Things either go right or completely wrong for him, and I feel like that’s the same with me.”

How has your style evolved over the years?

“Freshman year, I was crusty. I just followed the trends. Sophomore year, same deal. Junior year, I took a trip to Korea, and after that I kind of changed some of the clothes I wore, but I was still trying to find my voice in terms of style. I feel like this year is my peak at the moment. I don’t know how it’s going to transform in the future.”

Who is your favorite artist?

“Pascal Campion.”

What inspires you?

“People who have dreams and ambitions and follow them. Yes, everyone has dreams and ambitions, but those who can follow them I find very respectable because it’s hard to do things when people keep telling you not to.”

What is your look influenced by?

“Most of my style comes from music. Some of it’s more obscure, like garage rock and shadow rap, and some of it’s influenced by more prominent artists like Tyler, The Creator and Mac Demarco.”

What do you do for fun?

“Make music, play guitar, trombone and sing in choir. I spend a lot of time with my friends, but when I’m alone I try to be creative.”

What are you wearing from head to toe?

“Glasses, 6 color camo… I think they used it in the Gulf War, green hoodie, Huf tee, black chino pants, socks and Vans.”

“Modest Mouse — ‘Dramamine’.”

Who would play you in the story of your life?

“Holden Caulfield.”

How has your style evolved over the years?

“It used to be kind of bad because I was bullied in the fourth grade, so I just tried to fit in. I had a lot of basketball shoes and athletic shorts, which were my darker days. Then I started wearing flannels like every day, and now I just try to have old looks from the ’70s, ’90s and new stuff that’s unique.”

Who is your favorite artist?

“Ty Segall.”

What inspires you?

“The achievements of other people. Like Mac Demarco used to be really poor and play a $15 guitar with a shoe string as a strap, and now he’s a huge artist. I wanna be like him and go from being so low to being that successful just by doing what you love.”

“I listen to this guy named Activist King and he just be havin’ some stylish clothes that represents yourself a little bit more as a person who don’t care about nothin’.”

“Hang out with friends, go out to eat, bowl.”

“I’m wearing a cap, I’m wearing American Eagle, and I’m wearing some joggers and then I’m wearing some Jordan’s.”

“It has gotten a little more reggae. More like a free person style.”
