Fellow students,

This week marks the very beginning of SGA’s annual Canned Food Drive. Lasting from November 16 to December 21, the Canned Food Drive is an amazing opportunity for our school to help families in our community in a big way. This year, our goal is to accumulate 50,000 cans that we can deliver to over 150 families in Howard County.

If you would like to participate in the Canned Food Drive, you can come to room 110 after school to help collect cans from different classrooms or you can simply donate cans and money in your sixth period classes. Fifty cents will be counted as one can for competition purposes, but all the money donated will go towards buying fresh food, toiletries, and holiday necessities.

Also, the beginning of winter sports season has arrived! Congratulations to all the 2015 winter athletes. The SGA will be selling Hebron for Hope shirts at some of the future sporting events, so if you haven’t bought your shirt yet, look for us at home basketball games. All proceeds go to children’s cancer research.
