Pro Wrestling Bodyslams Into Mt. Hebron

On Saturday, May 23 the Mt. Hebron football program is hosting an all day Pro Wrestling fundraiser event, and all Vikings are welcome to attend.

This an all-day event filled with activities that include a car wash at Einstein’s Bagels and a flea market, featuring a variety of arts and crafts, in the student parking lot.

A meet and greet between all the event attendees and the professional wrestlers will occur from 6 pm until bell time at 7 pm. The matches will consists of a light heavyweight championship between wrestlers Santana and Diaz, as well as matches between Ashley America and Brittany Blake, Robby Illuminati and Kekoa Mana and Michael’s Amaydo and BLK Jeez.

Varsity head football coach, Phil Zacharias, feels as though this event will be a great way to bring in funds for the football program. “Pro wrestling is an exciting and interactive form of entertainment that all ages can enjoy,” Coach Zacharias said.

The wrestling matches are not the only assets the event has to offer; there will be live music, people watching, t-shirt sales and food, including concessions such as hotdogs, pizza and popcorn.

Coach Zacharias is presenting a special offer to any Mt. Hebron student who purchases a ticket. Get your ticket signed by the coach and receive a meal (Hotdog/Pizza, chips and a drink) for only one dollar. After the Pro wrestling event, meet the wrestlers at Chef Paulino’s restaurant in Ellicott City.

Front row tickets are $30, general admission tickets are $25 and bleacher seats are $15. All proceeds support the Mt. Hebron football program.
